From 12 to 14 September 2025, Brezno and its surroundings transformed into a huge automotive center when the Slovak Car Festival (SCF), one of the largest automotive festivals in Europe, took place here. The event, inspired by the legendary Worthersee, attracted over 30,000 fans of the motoring world and brought a combination of adrenaline, speed and elegance of cars.

Car enthusiasts from all over Slovakia and abroad came to Brezno to admire approximately a thousand exceptional vehicles. Visitors had the opportunity to see not only luxury brands, including the most expensive ones like Bentley, but also the most unusual exhibits - led by the aeromobile, a unique flying car of Slovak production. This unique vehicle with a length of 6 meters and a wingspan of 8.3 meters was one of the main attractions of the festival and, together with another exhibited specimen, showed that the future of transport may be closer than we think.

However, the Slovak Car Festival also brought surprises that literally amazed visitors. Among them was the orange tuned Škoda Rapid known as "Rabbit", which starred in the video clip of the world star Rihanna. This car was presented to the public in Slovakia for the first time ever. During the festival, even a formula raced through the streets of Brezno, which further highlighted the uniqueness of the event. "Among the exceptional pieces on display was the rare Gumper Apollo , one of only 40 produced, which was shown at a public event for the first time. There was also the legendary Bugatti Veyron , which still holds the record for the most expensive and fastest car in the world. However, an absolute sensation was the opportunity to see two aeromobiles together at once , unique flying cars of Slovak production, which has never been presented in such a tandem anywhere in the world before," added Marcel Kolenička , owner of the Double Red Cars Museum .

The program took place at four main locations. The square in Brezno became the center of events with a static exhibition and a starting ramp for a charity rally. In the Brezno Arena, visitors could see the most rare automobile pieces, the Double Red Cars Museum brought a specially adapted exhibition, and the Brezno Airport in the local part of Rohozná was transformed into the epicenter of adrenaline. It was there that stunt performances, drifting shows, and sprints of cars, motorbikes, vintage cars, and this year, off-road specials took place. Specialized means of transport in the form of city tourist trains drove between the individual stations, whose appearance also contributed to the overall impression of the event.
